Would you want to wear your PJs all day? Well, why not?! Mash students have become very comfortable wearing whatever they want to, in remote learning. In fact, there is also a rumor that kids want to go back to school in their pajamas! To understand this issue, The Mash News completed a survey about wearing pajamas to school, to find out what they would choose to wear. The Mash News found out that 55% of students would like to return to school in PJ’s, and 45% would like to stay with the school uniform. During the at-home school time, the survey actually found that MASH students mostly chose to wear sweatpants and a T-shirt. One student said, “I wouldn’t want to wear my pajamas to school because I always wear them and I don’t want to make them all messed up.” Another said “Our emotions could change if we wear different clothes.” Yolanda Konate, a third grader, said “I think they are cozy for school sometimes and I also wake up late so I don't have time to get dressed." About 58% of the students think that the teachers should return to school in pajamas so the MASH News interviewed Mrs. Magee to understand what the teacher’s think of PJ’s at MASH. Mrs. Magee said “I think that pajamas are comfortable, but I don’t think they’re good for the students to learn in, so I would keep wearing pajamas to school as a reward.” Mrs. Magee also said if MASH has a pajama day she would wear them. She said that she thinks teachers find it fun to wear pajamas on Pajama Day. Mrs. Magee thinks that she would wear plaid pajamas because she likes plaid and she thinks that it is in style. |
